vintage country pine wall hanging or counter top spice box w/ tiny drawers

1960s or 70s vintage primitive style spice box - this would look great in a more modern finish (painted, maybe - or a bleached 'scrubbed' stripped down to better show the wood).

It's a good looking, functional piece which could be turned to hang or stand. Drawers are square, and fit either way!. Measures about 12" x 7 1/2" x 3 1/2" overall.
