vintage crazy quilt patchwork blocks tapestry runner, mod abstract art made from brocade upholstery fabric

Very unusual mid century vintage table runner made of upholstery fabric samples and remnants pieced into mod abstract blocks backed with pieces cut from cotton flour sacks.

Lots of great retro fabrics and colors here, I love the browns, and the orange with the seafoam green!

It's really heavy, and stiff as a board - but it's a gorgeous piece which would make a statement wall art piece for a hall or stairwell. It measures 30" wide x 82" long.

Smells like mothballs, but it's clean and in good condition. I don't think this was ever used on a table.
