vintage sewing darning mending eggs, wood egg w/ handle, very old gourd

Two old darning 'eggs', one wood with a wood handle, one simply a very old very dry gourd, almost 4" long. Nice old primitive workbasket pieces from the days when everyone mended the holes in their socks and stockings!
