vintage depression era make do anvil, antique clothes iron set in a large old wood barn beam

Interesting handmade 'anvil' made by a very handy handyman for a small workshop, 1930s vintage. It's crafted from an old sadiron with the handle cut off, up ended into a wood barn beam carefully carved out to hold it snugly and level. This is just one of those pieces of authentic history you don't see too much anymore. It's right out of a farm estate here in Wisconsin.
