vintage depression glass dinner plates MacBeth Evans Chinex ivory custard milk glass

Set of ten vintage ivory colored opaque glass dinner plates, 1930s or early 40s depression glass. These are the Chinex pattern made by MacBeth Evans - no relation to 'Chinet' disposable plates which Google seems to think are interchangable!

These measure about 9 3/4" overall diameter, with embossed pattern along the pie crust scalloped edge. All show some utensil marks from use, but this depression era 'milk glass' is so hard to find these days that we love this set wear and all!
