Early 1900s antique lace runner, ivory cotton net, buratto style with unusual figural design. This has a bacchanalia scene with draped ladies or classical goddesses with babies or cherub angels riding on lions!
It measures 16 1/2" wide x 53" long overall (8 3/4" x 41" over the lace panel, with a wide lace edging beyond that).
This has some discoloration (the panel more so than the edging) but very little damage to the lace, we saw just a few pulled threads.
