vintage french passementirie sewing trim, antique gold & silver embroidered silk

Beautiful antique sewing trim, probably french, metallic threads embroidered on silk. It's 2 1/4" wide across the embroidery, 3 3/4" wide across the frayed ribbon of silk. It's 3 1/2 yards in a continuous length.

This has never been used, but it does have the fraying to the unfinished edges as shown, and a few small moth hole pin holes along the length. The color looks good, very little browning from age.
