vintage grain sacks, Bemis bags w/ woven stripe in muted colors, worn patched heavy cotton fabric

Lot of two old Bemis Seamless cotton feed sacks with woven striping in beautiful muted colors, grubby primitive homespun style fabric. These measure about 42" long, 18 1/2" wide.

Both of these have been much used, and one sack has a big denim patch, hand sewn. Still has holes! Both of these sacks have holes, and spots.

The sack without the patching is stamped Shannon Illinois (a very tiny rural town in Carroll County).
