vintage hand painted Nippon bluebird china butter dish, round tub w/ handles

Early 1900s vintage china butter tub with painted bluebirds design. I love this cute little bucket shape with handles. It's about 5" in diameter at the rim.

This is marked Hand Painted Nippon on the bottom, looks very good without any noticeable wear to the paint. There's no china insert for this piece, but it works well as bowl or candy dish just as it is.
