vintage hand painted ceramic salt & pepper shakers, male and female cardinal birds

Cute little ceramic cardinals S&P shakers set, mid century vintage, made in Japan. He's about 4 1/4" tall, she's a little smaller.

These are showing age and wear, paint is noticeably worn though there's no chips or cracks to either bird.
