vintage hand woven wool or alpaca Indian blanket blue & white figures traditional design

Vintage handwoven blanket - we were told this is alpaca wool, from Peru. Looks like a traditional design from Central America or South America to me.

It's thick and very heavy, like a saddle blanket or a rug. This is not labeled or signed that I could see, I'm not sure of its exact age. 80s or 90s?

It's 94" long with 6 1/2" long fringe beyond that. It's woven in two 29" wide panels joined down the center. Condition is good, not noticeably worn, very little light soil.
