vintage handmade Mexican glass pitcher, amethyst purple wine jug hand blown glass

This hand blown glass pitcher has a wonderful fat shape and weighty heft to it... it's not marked but we're guessing it's made in Mexico, 70s or 80s vintage?

It's a deep amethyst purple color with a clear glass handle. Measures about 8" tall overall, it's in excellent condition.
