vintage handmade patchwork quilt, windmill blocks nice old cotton print fabrics

Soft, thick hand tied quilt, nicely pieced of all cotton fabrics and feedsacks, 1940s - 50s vintage. I love the windmill pattern here, and the block patterned 'chinner' border at the top! This measures about 66" wide x 84" long.

This is out of an estate of a lady who quilted her whole life, she's about 90 years old now. She took a lot of time and care in picking colors and fabrics, beautiful piecing, and finishing her quilts. This one is tied in different colors of cotton carpet thread, so there are colored stripes down the neat rows of tufting!

There's a few spots front and back, but overall this looks very good - used for display only, if that. No wear or fraying, no rips or holes.
