vintage hillbilly days of the week embroidered towels, striped cotton kitchen towel set

Set of seven vintage cotton kitchen towels with embroidered 'hillbilly' days of the week. All seven days of the week are on matching towels 17 1/2" x 26".

All but one of these have the design upside down when they're hung up on the hanging loops, and I have to feel this must have been done as a joke in the general theme, because it looks weird even to a left hander!

The Wednesday towel is right way round, but also has a transfer (unstitched) ironed on to the other end. I believe the transfers are designed to wash out - these all have some old transfer marks and transfer bleed showing, they've never been used. Tuesday has a spot from storage.
