vintage industrial metal storage box, heavy stainless steel bin or wall box

Heavy stainless steel industrial storage box, 12" across the front, 4" front to back, 9" tall to the front edge, and 12" tall to the top of the back. We have no idea of it's original purpose, but we like the shape! It's scuffed and dirty from use, and could use a good cleaning and polishing.
