Vintage metal string holder for package cord, sewing thread, or yarn on cones. This is holding a 7" cone of natural cotton string, handy in the kitchen, garden shed, craft or work shop.

The metal stand measures 9 1/2" tall overall, and is in very good condition. It's out a shoemaker's workroom, where is was originally fit onto a cutting and sewing table.
