vintage majolica style ceramic boxes or fridge dishes, hand painted made in Japan

Pair of shabby but pretty vintage hand painted ceramic boxes or refrigerator dishes, made in Japan. We love these, with their old majolica style!

The larger box measures 5" x 4" x 2 3/4" overall, and the smaller box measures 3" x 3" x 2 1/2" overall. These have a few chips and some browning - actually pretty nice for old Made in Japan ware.
