vintage new stock unbleached cotton mattress cover, comforter cover or duvet cover

Unused mid-century vintage all cotton mattress cover from Montgomery Wards, sanforized to prevent shrinking. The package is open (we opened it for the photos) and the package has wear, though the cover itself looks excellent.

This is marked as a full size, 54" x 76". It's probably a good fit for a very old mattress! We think it would make a great comforter or duvet where the size is a little more flexible than a mattress.
