Old cast iron oval peddle step for a horse drawn buggy or wagon. These cast iron steps were used to help people climb in and out of buggies and wagons. This vintage iron buggy step is from an old farm estate near Portage in the Amish country of Wisconsin.

This step measures about 6"" high to the mounting face and about 9" deep. The peddle step is 3 1/2" x 4 1/4". This step has one of the old mounting carriage bolts stuck through the back mounting hole.
