vintage pottery deer planter, wide-eyed young doe fawn, unmarked Shawnee?

Mid-century vintage figural pottery planter, a wide-eyed young deer, semi-matte white with hand-painted eyes. She's not marked, only numbered on the unglazed bottom of a foot.

Measures 7" tall to the top of her ears, and looks very good overall, just a few crazing lines and the usual glazed over makers flaws som commonly found in this type of pottery.
