vintage pressed glass donkey cart, old candy container, toothpick or match holder glass novelty

Old figural glass donkey and cart, about 4 1/4" long. We don't know if this is just a whimsy, or a match holder or toothpick holder, or maybe a candy container?

This has no makers marks that we could find. The color is nice and clear, and it's in very good condition without chips or cracks.
