vintage printed cotton towel fabric w/ Mexican cactus print, unused 1940 kitchen linens yardage
more photos of this product below Full bolt of unused vintage print cotton
toweling fabric, 16 1/2" wide (with hemmed edges), over 18 yards in one
continuous length. We love the retro old Mexico themed print! And we
were delighted to find a whole bolt of this lovely stuff.
There's browning in a few areas along the length, mostly at the hemmed edges and the first yard on the outside wrap of the bolt. (This was wrapped in newspaper when it was mail ordered, and it was wrapped up for almost 70 years.) There's about 19 yards altogether, so it's around 18 yards of the less yellowed fabric. And we think it will probably soak up nicely - we haven't touched it, since it's never been laundered.
We're including a 2 1/2 yard length of fringed trim that we found with this fabric - it's 1" wide cotton trim, we're guessing it was meant to trim towels or kitchen curtains made from this fabric. There's something almost amazing about finding sewing trims and fabric untouched after 65 years!
