vintage pure linen pillow shams white work padded embroidery, large J monogram

Pair of hand embroidered white linen pillow shams, fine pure linen fabric, beautiful stitching. These are out of a late 20s or early 30s vintage trousseau.

They have a lovely large monogram letter J with other elaborate embroidery, and the perfectly crinkled texture that only comes with linen fabric.

They're about 22" x 32" long overall, open at each end. Condition is excellent, barely used, found just one small spot near one lower edge.
