vintage pure linen pillowcases w/ whitework embroidery, french fleur de lis

Beautiful vintage hand embroidered pillow cases - these are LINEN rather than cotton fabric. I don't find many linen pillowcases, and I was delighted to find this matching set! The linen has a such a lovely feel, soft yet crisp, with a pleasing weight to it.

These measure about 21" x 35 1/2" overall, for standard pillows. I don't believe this set has had much if any use - they have a few small pulls and tiny holes to the cloth, and slight discoloration on the fold lines. We haven't washed or soaked them at all.
