vintage rose stencil faience pottery plate, French country style w/ old Germany mark

This lovely vintage plate is very much in the French country style, so I was surprised to see it was marked Germany, rather than France! It's faience pottery (not porcelain), with a rose in a stenciled look. Measures about 9" overall diameter, it's in excellent condition without damage.
