vintage roses print wool challis fabric shawl or scarf, fringed table or piano cover

This is lovely, though we're not sure if it's a shawl for a lady, or her piano! It's a fine wool challis fabric square with coral-pink rose print on black, edged with wool yarn fringe on all four sides. It measures 36" x 36".

This is in very nice condition - there are a few tiny pinholes, but nothing larger. And the color is nice and even throughout.
