vintage enamelware tray, round trivet w/ handles old cream and white enamel

Shabby vintage enamel ware tray in cream and white, originally designed to hold a hot plate or dish at the center (like a trivet), I think? It's 15" across the handles, 13" in diameter overall, 11 1/4" over the white not including the cream colored part of the border, and 8" across the well at the center. This has no holes, but there's noticeable wear to the enamel, especially at the handles.
