vintage salt glazed stoneware crock w/ greek key pattern, shaded blue & white

Nice old stoneware crock, a salt canister? This is about 6" in diameter, stands 4 1/4" tall. It's in good clean condition overall.

We're not sure if the wooden lid is original, but it's vintage, and fits the jar perfectly. The bottom (outside) of the crock is unglazed, no makers marks. Not sure who made this one!
