vintage school globe w/ metal stand, 1960s or early 70s Rand McNally world map

Vintage globe - no date on this that I could see, but 1960s or early 70s at my best guess from the countries / names of countries on the map. Frame and base of the stand are metal, cheaply made but oh so retro! Fun for decor at back to school time, or just a conversation starting collectible.

Measures about 18" tall overall. Spins smoothly, and map is nice and clean without yellowing. No dents or scribbles or serious wear, this looks good.
