vintage silver plate roll top covered butter dish, tall stand w/ ornate legs

Vintage reproduction of an antique silver butter dish - this is later 20th century (made in Hong Kong) in the style of a Victorian or Edwardian era piece. There's no glass liner here, just the silver plated stand with attached rolltop cover. Works smoothly!

This has tarnish and wear from age and use, still very pretty. I love the shape, like a fancy jewelry box. You could easily use this as a dresser box for small trinkets, or brushes or makeup.
