Vintage soap saver, a sturdy wire mesh basket with wire handle, to swish a piece of soap in a laundry tub or dishpan. These are getting hard to find these days - and they're still a great tool to get a bar of soap into a mountain of soap suds! This one shows some age and wear from use, but it's structurally sound and in good usable condition yet.
