vintage solid brass cloche bell shaped candle holder or incense burner

Bell shaped pierced brass candle holder (or incense burner?), made in India, 1980s? The top of the bell lifts off, so it"s made to be a table top light, not a hanging lantern.

It measures about 4" across the bottom of the base, made to hold a candle pillar, votive or tea light up to nearly 2" in diameter. The bell stands about 4 3/4" in height overall. This casts a lovely pattern of light with a candle inside!
