vintage tangerine orange stretch glass crackle finish cut to clear plate w/ center handle

Beautiful vintage glass serving tray, a 10 1/2" diameter plate with center handle, tangerine orange cut to clear with wheel cut design.

We've never found this glass finish cut like this before... this piece is something of a mystery to us!

We think the 'crackle' color is a sort of a stretch glass finish. We'd guess that this color is probably Fenton, but we've never seen this particular shape on the handle in Fenton.

It's not marked, perhaps a Fenton piece made for another company? And probably pre-dating the Fenton marking in any case.
