vintage tooled copper bowl, ornate Persian design marked Iran

Hand tooled copper bowl marked Iran, very dirty and tarnished... we have no idea as to the exact vintage of this piece, sorry. And we've been afraid to clean it, for fear of damaging the applied silver or tin. It's beautifully made, and heavy for its size. Measures 7 1/2" in diameter.
