vintage wallpaper printing roller, Siamese dancers metal print block

Vintage wallpaper print roller salvaged for use as a lamp base, and finished in a matte enamel paint in chinese red. The pattern is a border print, flowers, oriental characters, and dancers from Siam, 50s or early 60s?

The design is clear, without a lot of wear - but this is just the exterior of a metal roller, no end on either side. Measures 14 1/2" long, 4 1/2" in diameter.
