Early 1900s vintage white cotton petticoat with a hoop skirt from the
1980s... this was used as a costume or for a historical reenactment in the
80s or 90s, and we've left it together just as we found it. It's not
perfectly period, but it works together and looks pretty!
The hoops are modern synthetic material, cheaply made, one size fits all.
It's 36" long from waist to lowest hoop, 38" long to hem.
The petticoat is machine sewn though it's an older piece. It's very nicely
made, and measures 24" at the waist (needs a new button fastener), x 44"
long straight down. (It gets shorter as it gets fuller, of course.)
The cotton petticoat looks good, nice and white, very few spots and not a
lot of yellowing. The hoops are spotted or a little discolored.
