vintage white linen hankies w/ Madeira embroidery fancywork lace edging

Lot of six fancy work hankies, early and mid 20th century vintage. These are all linen (fine handkerchief linen), I think.

None are marked, though these look like Madeira embroidery to me. There's a light spot to the hanky with the embroidered cross - the other don't appear to have been used. Pretty for a bride!
