vintage wood bowls Sitka 'airplane' spruce Posey Mfg. Hoquiam Washington

Rare set of four 30s or 40s vintage wood bowls from Posey Manufacturing, makers of wood airplane propellers and wood salad sets!

These are the individual salad bowls, about 7 1/2" in diameter. They're nice and clean (they don't appear to have had much if any use), and would make interesting occasional pieces.

One of these does have a split, please see photos. The wood is so amazingly light it's hard to believe they've lasted about 80 years!
