Vintage jewelry box or portable vanity, with mirror inside the lid. It measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" overall. This is so pretty, with old gilt colored finish and romantic garden scene print on the hinged lid. It's been used and loved, and the hinges fit loosely after many long years and repeated use. The lid decoration is streaked and spotted under the glass, and the mirror inside the lid with darkened with silvering loss.
