huge walnut wood salad bowl w/ 60s mod shape, Vermillion vintage

Large wooden walnut bowl, 12" in diameter x 5 1/2" tall. This has a ridge to the outside caused by the wood changing shape with age and seasonal fluctuations, and a mark of the same sort on the inside which looks to have been treated with glue or varnish? Also there's a little scratching in areas, and a little bit of chipping or roughness to the edge.
