old windmill vintage glass stand-off insulator for primitive coat peg

Old clear glass insulator with a iron screw base... This is from an old farm estate and would make a nice coat or harness peg for the barn or porch.

This was likely used to carry bare copper electric wire into the farmhouse from the windmill to charge the storage batteries.

It measures 2 1/4" long over the glass and 5 1/4" long overall. It is about 1 3/8" in diameter across the glass
