Alexandria palm leaf pattern brown transferware, aesthetic antique china square honey box

Beautiful aesthetic vintage china dish in the Alexandria pattern, nice old bee skep mark. This is very shabby, stained, crazed, cracked and chipped!

I'm not having much luck finding a illustration of this piece with a lid, though I'd guess it had one originally. Also, no insert here, so I'm not entirely sure what this would have held... comb honey? butter? cheese? With the bee hive mark, I think maybe a specialty piece for honey.

It would work nicely for flowers or greenery (tiny palms or ferns?) or even a moss garden. It measures about 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" inside dish area, 2 1/2" deep, 6 3/4" across the handles.
