depression era vintage cotton quilt, print and flour sack fabric patchwork
more photos of this product belowPrimitive old cotton filled patchwork quilt straight of of a rural estate, carefully cared for and in very good condition. This is mainly plain natural colored cotton feed and flour sacks (front and back), with patchwork quilt top design in old cotton print fabrics.
It's 87" x 76" overall, quilted on a sewing machine. There's no rips or holes, though there are a few spots and some yellowing (more from the sacks used than its use as a quilt, I think). We haven't washed it, or had it cleaned.
The sacking fabrics are not an exact match everywhere, which has probably become more evident as the fabric has aged. We like this, it's a genuine original work of folk art, and should be proud of it's origins and it's age!
