flapper era vintage evening bag purse frame, gold tone metal w/ lapis blue faux gemstone cabochons

Antique metal clasp frame for an evening bag, probably 1920s, I think? Maybe earlier?

This has no makers marks that I could find. It's made to go from a flat two dimensional shape to a square opening (two sets of hinges). The cabochons are not real stones, they're faux gems, lapis lazuli blue color.

This functions well, the hinges work smoothly. There's some finish wear from age and use, but overall this looks pretty nice. I didn't see any missing stones, and I believe the chain handle is very likely original.
