vintage kitchen pottery jam pot, big red tomato, marked USA

Big old red tomato shaped jam pot, marked USA, numbered 8834. Measures about 4" x 4" overall, it's not made with a notch to hold a spoon, but has a solid cover.

There's a small chip to the underside of one leaf on the lid, which doesn't effect use, or show at all when the cover is in place.
