30s vintage wood wall rack knife block, wooden holder for kitchen knives

Red and white painted wood knife rack for kitchen knives, 7 3/4" long over the slotted knife block. Design patent numbers date this to late 1930s or early 1940s.

This has wear to the original paint, and a little chipping and scuffing to the wood. It's right out of an old Wisconsin farmhouse kitchen, and has been well loved and well used over the years.
