vintage machine-age industrial wood storage barrel or parts bin

Vintage industrial bent wood storage bin or tub with lid... originally used for shipping machine parts, but perfect for storage. This round, barrel shaped, parts bin still has the original paper shipping label from Caterpillar (maker of industrial earth moving and construction equipment, such as bulldozers and excavators) . It measures about 17" high and 13" across. The lid is held on with a steel band with a toggle latch.

This bin has age, rust to the metal fittings and is dusty from storage.
