1940s or early 50s vintage floor lamp, solid brass with tole metal helmet shade. We could find no label, but believe this is a Rembrandt lamp. The brass has tarnish (we haven't polished it, and will leave that to you) but looks good otherwise, and the tole looks good too, without scratching.
The light stands 32 1/2" tall to the top of the brass rod, and 40" tall overall (to the top of the overshade). The undershade is metal as well, this is not made to hold a glass diffuser. It's nice and heavy, well weighted and balanced, very stable.
The wiring is all original, it looks good and works.
