solid brass adjustable picture hangers for oriental screens, frameless art work

Eight fully adjustable solid brass picture hangers, to hold unframed artwork canvases or fabric blocked on wood stretchers. These can be used singly (in which case two diagonal corners are held) or with two hangers on a picture, crossed at the back to hold all four corners, or extended in a straight line with one hanger at each long side.

Sounds more confusing than it is, these were simple to put in place! We've shown one from front and back on a canvas we had here (it's facing backwards in all pics, to show you the workings against a plain background - in real life of course only the two corner show against your fabrics or art).

These are Chinese or Japanese, we think? They are vintage, a little tarnished, but very nicely made with small etched flowers at the corners.

All are the same size, 36" long when opened up completely straight. The corner clips hold a piece between about 1/2" to 1 1/2" comfortably.
