vintage wood spool of rope, rustic farm primitive natural sisal hay bale twine

Nice old wooden spool of sisal rope baling twine... we just don't see the old bale rope like we did even just 20 years old, and believe this piece makes the most of it. We miss this scratchy old stuff, the smell, the way it weathers to a faded color in the sunlight.

We like this old 'farmer hack' to hold this all purpose rope handy in the barn or shed, and it makes a great display while it's at it.

The plywood spool measures about 14" diameter x 12", and is very worn and rustic. The twine is a long leftover piece from a baler spool, not used rope from hay bales. We didn't unwind this to measure, but there's quite a bit of twine here.
